Onglaze colours that consist of powdered frits and
inorganic colour stains mixed technically are used for
decoration of the glazed surface
of calcined ceramicwares such as chinawares, tiles and
etc...
It is decorated with colour relatively all low temperature.
Frit react with the surface of the glaze and fix the
desired printing colours on the glaze at the softening
point, so called, Onglaze Colours and it
could be obtained more chemical durability when it
decorated and fired at high temperature.
In case of dinnerware decoration, the cleaning process is
required therefore it must be checked not only the akali
resistance in the cleaning
solution but also the mechanical durability such as the
friction and wearing.
Currently, we supply two different onglaze colours used for
bonechina, general porcelain & etc..., ie. lead bearing
type
and lead free type.
* Application
Generally, the firing temperature is cycled of 4hours or more from 780? to 830? and according to the ware class, the firing temperature range can be changed.

-> Conventional Cycled of 4hours or more : 780 ~ 830C'
-> Fast-Firing Cycles of 2hours or less : 850 ~ 950C'
Kinf of Container : Bone China
-> Conventional Cycled of 4hours or more : 780 ~ 820C'
-> Fast-Firing Cycles of 2hours or less : 850 ~ 950C'
Kinf of Container : Vitreous China
-> Conventional Cycled of 4hours or more : 780 ~ 820C'
-> Fast-Firing Cycles of 2hours or less : 850 ~ 950C'
Kinf of Container : Earthen / Stoneware
-> Conventional Cycled of 4hours or more : 780 ~ 800C'
-> Fast-Firing Cycles of 2hours or less : 780 ~ 850C'
3000 series contains relatively a little a heavy metal but as using 3955 Covercoat Flux,minimize the detection rate of heavy and improve gross.
3000 series normally is used to the using method of printing it on the decal paper, then sticking it to the materials, and firing it. However, it is possible to use as dipping, spraying and hand painting method.
* Mixing Ratio between Dry Powder and Medium Oil
Normal Color - (N) = Color 10 vs. Medium Oil 7 ~ 10
Cd color class - (C) = Color 10 vs. Medium Oil 6.5 ~ 8
Coating Flux - (C & N ) = Color 10 vs. Medium Oil 9 ~10
Formation - drying - 1st Firing (at 800 C') - Glazing
- Main Firing (1200~1250C') - Fixing Decal Paper -
3rd Firing (780 ~ 830C')
